INSULEUR members will discuss in Alghero (Sardinia) the competitiveness of tourism island's SMEs on December the 3rd

INSULEUR organizes on December the 3^rd in Alghero (Sardinia, Italy), in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sassari, a seminar that aims to answer to the question "How to strengthen the competitiveness of tourism island's SMEs? '.

This meeting intends to contribute to the discussion initiated last summer by the European Commission regarding Europe's strategy for tourism, inviting a group of experts and professionals to discuss this issue which includes stakeholders within this sector, representatives of various chambers of commerce, businessmen and representatives of European institutions.

The topics to be discussed during the seminar include diversification, competition from third countries, seasonality, training, innovation, knowledge networks and sustainable development. In the last session some European politicians will take part in the debate.

This event has been conceived to offer a special importance to debate and exchange of views, so all the participants' contributions may gather on a concrete proposal to be transferred to European institutions.
